I know at this point of time u are all busy and looking forward to the holidays. I am sorry I could not update the blog as I a had to prepare for my Mandarin test . Phew! It's finally over and I am more confident now to talk to others in Mandarin. I would be meeting some of u if u wish outside school. We can make plans to meet in late November. How about that? Hi all,

I'm very sorry that I couldn't come to the Open House today. My poor little boy has skin infection and I had to rush to the skin clinic. His skin is so bad that both cheeks are very red. I had no choice as he starts to feel irritable and scratch his cheeks. It gets worse already. I feel very sad that I could not bring him to school to see all of you. By the time, I passed the school on my way back, it was already past 3 pm. I did not enter as most people have packed up the stalls. Anyway, I know that all of you enjoyed yourself today. I would inform you when I would be coming to school next time. I hope my little one would recover soon.

Time really flies! My baby is past two months old. He is learning to baby talk. I can't be back to school in July as I need more time to spend with him(my little baby). I would not be in school from today onwards as I am due to give birth anytime next week or the week after. The doctor wanted me to rest at home and be prepared for the delivery. Anyway, you can still see my son, Mustapha, in school. I wish you all the best in your studies. Remember to aim high and not let failure hinder any success. On Tuesday (13 November), we went on a trip to Singapore Discovery Centre. It was so much fun as we discovered the Singapore Toons Exhibition and had a workshop on Manga Drawing. I hope you enjoyed your trip there coz I enjoyed myself very much!

Well, the National Day celebration in school is finally over. I was really upset that some of u didn't take good care of the radio and CD. NE Show@Marina

Dear 5 Sapphireans,

Last Saturday's NE Show was fantastic, right? Though it was drizzling at the start of the show, it did not dampen our spirit to celebrate Singapore's birthday. The cool goody bag that you received can be interchangeable. Which part of the show do you like best? For me, the fireworks and the Lion team(parachuters) was simply amazing. Well, it would be nice to watch the parade on the actual day.... Anyway, I enjoyed myself. I hope you did too!

Racial Harmony @LPS

Hi everyone!

Last week was indeed a busy week for all. The Racial Harmony commemoration in school was a special one. Do you know why? Lianhuareans got the the chance to witness 4 traditional weddings at one time! Wasn't that amazing? The teachers in Lianhua are really great people! They supported the event and went all out to do their best. Hey, there's also our parent support group who, as usual very forthcoming in supporting events in the school. Bravo to them! Not forgetting, we also have friends from Suzhou, China who joined us in the celebrations! They were really impressed by our warmth and enjoyed themselves tremendously. Continue to live the spirit high. Way to go Lianhua!
