Time really flies! Before we know it, ot is already the 4th week of the holidays. Which means we have about 2 more weeks or so before the term starts. How is everyone doing? I hope you have been enjoying yourself very much. Don't forget to take a peek at those P6 books. Ta ta for now....

I would miss 5 Sapphire!

Dear pupils,

I am going to miss all of you. You have been such wonderful pupils. I am sure you would agree that we shared many memorable times this year. Most of you would be in P6Sapphire next year. If you have not hand in your report book, you can always pass to the general office during the the holidays. I wish all of you the best in whatever you do! Enjoy the holidays and remember that the P5 Sapphire (2007) blog will remain as long as you enjoy posting the comments and write in the shoutbox. Here's a poem for all of you....

On Tuesday (13 November), we went on a trip to Singapore Discovery Centre. It was so much fun as we discovered the Singapore Toons Exhibition and had a workshop on Manga Drawing. I hope you enjoyed your trip there coz I enjoyed myself very much!

By the way, all the P5s would be out to Singapore Discovery Centre for a cartoon workshop, So Singapore! School term starts!

Term 4 starts from last week but I had no chance to update the blog. Better late than never! I hope you are adjusting well and remember that this term is really a very(100x) important term for you. Ii am sure you know why. The SA2 would start in October! You may think that it is still too far before the actual date but time really flies. Yeah! It's National Day

My dear Sapphireans,

Well, the National Day celebration in school is finally over. I was really upset that some of u didn't take good care of the radio and CD. Yesterday, I reminded the last person to take the radio back to the staff room. It was a busy day for all of us. Luckily, Mr James helped to burn another CD for us. U all should thank him! NE Show@Marina

Dear 5 Sapphireans,

Last Saturday's NE Show was fantastic, right? Though it was drizzling at the start of the show, it did not dampen our spirit to celebrate Singapore's birthday. The cool goody bag that you received can be interchangeable. Which part of the show do you like best? For me, the fireworks and the Lion team(parachuters) was simply amazing. Well, it would be nice to watch the parade on the actual day.... Anyway, I enjoyed myself. I hope you did too!

Racial Harmony @LPS

Hi everyone!

Last week was indeed a busy week for all. The Racial Harmony commemoration in school was a special one. Do you know why? Lianhuareans got the the chance to witness 4 traditional weddings at one time! Wasn't that amazing? The teachers in Lianhua are really great people! They supported the event and went all out to do their best. Hey, there's also our parent support group who, as usual very forthcoming in supporting events in the school. Bravo to them! Not forgetting, we also have friends from Suzhou, China who joined us in the celebrations! They were really impressed by our warmth and enjoyed themselves tremendously. Continue to live the spirit high. Way to go Lianhua!

We Got Started for I & E!

Today, our class started preparing our I & E craftwork. We wanted to decorate the frame but we ended up decorating ice-cream sticks! We would continue our project on Tuesday and hope to complete all by Thursday! We would start selling our project on Friday... The I & E Day would be on Saturday!
